I thought it’s never going to end…
I have officially survived my first summer as an “associate director” of Camp Sally. It was a lot of fun and it was also a lot of work. The camp is certainly an interesting and a good experience. The kids ranged from six to 13, although the hot days have gotten to them, they have not created too much trouble that the counselors cannot handle. The worst part of the camp is probably the single adult camper that we have (although he is 24 and he is suppose to be one of the senior counselors, in many ways he acted more like one of the campers). Making matters worse, in many ways he was MUCH worse than the kids! Boy, was I glad to hear that this will be his last year helping out at the camp.
